This Stain Grade Knotty Alder hutch was converted to a French Blue Paint Color with updated new glass replacement doors for areas above counter. Then we added custom molding sticking to doors in decorative faux finished metallic gold. Wow what a change!
These cabinets started out stain grade knotty alder. We changed the doors, crown, added a third row of cabinets on top with glass doors. To seal the deal we added a layer of faux antique clean line glazing.

We were called into the finish the job, and recover the cabinets to a stain grade finish.

These cabinets were 15 year old white oil base enamel cabinets. They had be touched up at one point, resulting in heavy visible brush marks, and gummy thick marks in paint. The client requested a rich grey to repaint the cabinets.
These cabinets were 15 year old white oil base enamel cabinets. They were cleaned, sanded smooth. Then we apply red bond to smooth out nail nail pops and dents in wood. This helped us achieve a smooth new wood look. The cabinets were primed in a pigmented shellac, then painted in Benjamin Moore Satin Impervo Oil Base Enamel.
These cabinets were Maple that had aged hevaliy in the sunlight of the room causing the wood to yellow, and dark wood to darken more.
These cabinets had suffered a lot of UV damage causing the different color variations be become more pronounced. In order to do this we had to strip it all down to bare wood... We then created a custom penetrating stain, with toner coats to resolve the aged area more heavily affected by the light.
